What is the meaning of PON? it is complicated!, I do not know also the English of PON. In Indonesia, PON is Pekan Olah Raga Nasional, if I translate it by my own word is, National Sport Week that is like SEA Game, Asian Game and Olympiad. However, local athlete follows a country’s game called PON in Indonesia. The event will be held in the year of 2012 in Riau.

Can you guess what sport is it? Actually, I do not know the type of this sport n English, it was complicated. However, here, in Indonesia and Malay we call it Takraw. Takraw is played in South East Asia (SEA) Game. The Picture above is a tournament in UIN Suska Riau that brings with it the spirit of PON Riau 2012.
