Do not ask me about Water front city in Riau capital, I do not know about it at all. The main phenomenon is a river cross the city and flood. Government plans to protect city by build land defender like a wall which they hope it can defenses city from the flood.
Most of transportation in area where is separated by river uses a ship to across it. You know, The word ''Riau'' is took by word Rio that means river, too many river in Riau like Kampar, Indragiri, Rokan, Kuantan and the popular one is Siak river. I think government has no enough treasure to build more bridge, so ship becomes an effective transport.
Although that ship had already a machine in the back of it but, I just classify it as a Riau traditional fisher because the equipments which fisherman uses.
You know about Market on Water such as in Bangkok - Thailand? Do not guess that picture is same. People Come to Setia Kawan that burned in RAPP Harbor taking burning thing that still function able.

It is the place where a Riau legendary ship called "Lancang Kuning" born. Riau is surrounded by water and sea which force its community to build craft, boat, ship and etc. and It is the place where the strongest sailorman born.
