Jembatan Air Tiris (Air Tiris Bridge) could be categorized as new bridge, It is a young Kampar. Riau which originally means river has many bridges around the area.

There are many long – large river in Riau province, they are Kampar, Siak, Rokan, Indragiri and other small rivers cuts every area in Riau. So, bridge becomes an important infrastructure. Jembatan Air Tiris has answered what people need in Air Tiris.

Get Bored

An Islamic College Student looks bored. The woman actually is my friend in college. When day is afternoon, most of the student likely get bored on campus, especially in UIN Riau where there is only has little green and comfortable area. This phenomena caused by an under construction campus. Year of 2005, all the studies in UIN Riau has centered in UIN Suska Panam where almost all the area is being constructed.

Kampar

Kampar is one of the central civilization in Riau. Kampar is originally the name of river, the largest river in Riau, or might be in Indonesia. It becomes the central of economic, transportation and culture growth.

Kampar is also the name of regency, tribe and culture. Kampar is local pride of Riau. The photo is a part of the long, long river of Kampar, exactly photographed in Air Tiris, Kampar.

Riau Airlines in Memory

I proud of Riau Airlines. It becomes my first choice always when I want to take fly. But, this several years, Riau Airlines (RAL) got many problems, the most problematic one is in financial.

Riau Airlines recent news is that, it change its name becomes Riau Air. So the photo above, when we took fly by Riau Airlines, as its name, was only a memory now. When I want to fly again with my local airways, the name is not Riau Airlines anymore… Good bye Riau Airlines.

Bank Mandiri ATM Recahrge

Ever you seen an officer recharge money on ATM with a guard beside him? I got chance to take the scene when I wanted to come in my office. First time, I saw a car with guard element in every windows of it, it is rare, is not it? I took those scenes in Panam, Pekanbaru - Riau.


When I shot, the man held a cast saw me sharply but the guard was ready in front of ATM. The money recharge did not spend much time. I only get two shots because the police officer looks unfriendly :D

Awesome Street Singer

Do you know what street singer really is, hmm.. we call it in Indonesia as ‘’pengamen’’. In my city Pekanbaru, Riau there are many street singers, in the bus, home to home, food retail and other places.

One of them is him, the boy. He was at least eight years old when I took his photo about a year ago. We, my friends and I, know the boy. He ever took audition in Idola Cilik (Indonesian Junior Idol). His voice is very nice, awesome!

From the interview he told he could earn more than 12 USD (100k IDR) per day. And the fact, he is ordered by his parent to do this, I can conclude that his family is poor.

Riau Shot Mass Media
